Kai Timmins, DVM

Dr Kai Timmins was born in a small town in South Texas and lived there his entire life. He loved cats from an early age but it took until halfway through his undergraduate degree at the University of Houston-Victoria to decide that being a veterinarian was what he wanted to do. During that time he did an internship at the Texas Zoo which ignited his passion for exotic animal medicine. He got a M.S in biomedical sciences at Texas A&M University and entered the veterinary program the following year. He graduated in 2025 with his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Texas A&M and decided it was time for a fresh start in a new part of the country. He quickly fell in love with the mountains. 

His main passions are for feline and exotic medicine, especially ophthalmology, neurology, and anesthesia. He loves to connect with clients and give each animal the time they deserve to make them feel better. As a new graduate, he is full of knowledge and passion and looking forward to applying all his years of school to his future patients, utilizing information he learned from the best and the brightest in school. 

In his free time, he enjoys reading fantasy books, watching anime, hanging out with his cat Boo, hiking, and spending time at zoos and aquariums around the world. He loves to travel and his favorite country to explore is Japan (mostly for the food).
